Description
The Imperial Starfighter Corps was the starfighter pilot branch of the Imperial Navy during the Age of the Empire. It consisted of TIE fighter pilots. Although the Corps was a component of the Navy, some pilots were assigned to ground operations with the Imperial Army's Air Corps. Imperial starfighter pilots were extremely skilled in space combats and tactics and the best students of the Imperial Starfighter Academy had an opportunity to operate with the most advanced of TIE Fighters that Empire could offer.
