The Household Division is a group of seven elite British Army regiments responsible for ceremonial duties, public events, and serving as the Sovereign’s personal troops. Household Division: The Household Division forms part of the British Army's London District and consists of seven regiments: five Foot Guards and two Household Cavalry regiments. Its motto, Septem juncta in uno ("seven joined in one"), reflects this composition The division performs state ceremonial duties and public duties in London and Windsor, including the State Opening of Parliament, Trooping the Colour, and mounting the King's Guard at Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, and Windsor Castle
