United States Marine Corps Marine Raiders ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Marine Raiders were one of the most elite groups of WWII, they were highly skilled in combat. They were stationed in many places such as Bataan, Guadalcanal, Bouganville Island, and many other places. They were disbanded on January 8, 1944 when the Corps made the doctrinal decision that the Raiders had out-lived their original mission. On August 6, 2014, Marine Commandant James Amos announced at a MARSOC change of command ceremony that all units within the parent command would undergo a name change. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Guidelines- Command Staff-
