Welcome! Threaded Tales is a series of character-driven fantasy roleplay free-for-all games, all spanning across various realms within the same world. "The Small, Wet Country Across the Sea" was the name of our very first RPG and that remained the group's title for many years, but we've decided to rebrand since it now encompasses multiple settings. Despite roleplaying being for fun, we aspire to use it to help beginner writers learn through trial-and-error. Not only does it serve as a tool to get feedback from others in real-time, it forces writers to come up with a character's reaction to conflict on the spot; in other words, you have to write quickly, and well. The rules we've set also act as something roleplayers must build their characters and narrative around, which, contradictory as it might sound, actively forces the roleplayers to be more creative.
