Description

During the “Greek Dark Ages”, people lived scattered throughout Greece in small farming villages. As they were on the verge of death, the gods and goddesses of Olympus sent a worthy leader and her trusted companions to Greece. They provided the villagers of all parts of Greece with fresh river water, dozens of animals, landfills of crops, and an eternity of happiness. These villagers were bound to follow their saviors to the ends of the Earth until their day's end. As they grew larger, these villages began to evolve. They developed governments and organized their citizens according to some sort of constitution or set of laws. They raised armies and collected taxes. These city-states are now said to be protected by the heroine and her companions who formed Ancient Greece, to whom the citizens of Greece owed a great deal of reverence, respect, and sacrifice. Our beloved leaders now protect Greece from the barbarians who lurk outside the city borders, and ensuring safety within the Empire
