The Hazardous Environment Combat Unit (or HECU) is a United States Marine Corps unit specially trained to specifically deal with hazardous cleanup in classified and top secret projects and a variety of indoor combat situations, particularly involving dangerous environments and unconventional enemies. They often work in tandem with other branches of the US military.
