𝐃𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐤𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐬𝐤𝐚 Located in the heart of Poland, it is no wonder it has been dubbed "cradle of Poland". Wielkopolska was the early center of 11th century royal power in Poland. This changed after the Pagan rebellion in the 1030s and invasion by Bretislaus I of Bohemiin 1038, which saw the capital moved from Gniezno to Kraków.
