本社区不代表任何政治立场 —————————————————————— 本社区隶属[PLA]中国人民解放军湖南军事基地训练总队—省公安厅旗下 —————————————————————— 本社区中的“湖南警察学院”仅参考现实中的地理位置、名称等，与现实学院无任何关联。 —————————————————————— 学院简介： 湖南警察学院是湖南省唯一一所培养警务人才的全日制普通高等本科院校，由湖南省人民政府举办，湖南省公安厅主管，湖南省教育厅负责业务管理。学院位于长沙市经济技术开发区，占地面积近700亩，校舍建筑面积24.73万平方米。 湖南警察学院的前身最早可追溯至1949年9月成立的湖南临时省政府公安厅公安学校，此后历经多次更名和调整，包括湖南省公安干部学校、湖南省政法干部学校、湖南省人民警察学校、湖南公安专科学校、湖南公安高等专科学校等阶段。2010年3月，学校升格为本科院校，正式更名为湖南警察学院。 湖南警察学院以“政治首位、注重养成、贴近实战、服务公安”为办学特色，实施“教学练战一体化”人才培养模式。学校还设有学警总队，组织学生参与大型活动安保、维稳处突等工作，支持公安机关实战需求。
