Description
The SCP Foundation exists because the world is far stranger—and far more dangerous—than the public dares to imagine. We are the thin black line between humanity and chaos, the unseen wall that holds back a tide of impossibilities. Every week, phenomena emerge that defy physics, logic, or sanity: machines that run on concepts instead of fuel, creatures older than civilization, objects capable of rewriting reality itself. Some anomalies can be contained. Others… can only be managed until the end of time. You will never read about these in the press. That is deliberate. Public knowledge of even one confirmed anomaly would trigger mass panic, collapse governments, and invite catastrophic misuse by those who believe they could harness such things. We do not exist to destroy the unknown. We exist to secure it, contain it, and protect humanity from it—and occasionally, to protect it from humanity.
