Description
The Covenant Special Operations division, a branch of the Covenant's Special Warfare Group, was a division dedicated to reconnaissance, intelligence-gathering, and unconventional warfare. Those with aptitude in the above skills have been asked or may have asked to join the division as Commandos. Only the most skilled, most intelligent, and most zealous of the Covenant were hand-picked to enter the Special Operations lances, an elite subdivision of the Special Operations division beginning with the rank of "Special Operative." These elite warriors undertook more covert and sensitive missions, and their purview extended past the basic reconnaissance and marksmanship expected of Commandos, and into the infiltration and espionage expected of a true Special Operations warrior.
