𝟐𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐮-𝐔𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝓢𝓾𝓶𝓶𝓪𝓻𝔂: As early as August 1808, the enlarged 2nd Duchy Nassau line grenadiers Regiment marched to Spain in support of the French troops. It had been formed from the 2nd and 3rd battalions, one company of the other battalions, an Eskadron riding hunter and 300 new recruits. this time, the troops took part in seven battles and 33 battles.
