Description
𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐇 𝐂𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐘 The 18th Irish Hussars were raised in 1759 in Drogheda. In 1808, the Hussars landed in Lisbon for service in the Peninsular War. The Hussars would go on to fight numerous battles, most notably the Battles of Vitoria, Toulouse, and Waterloo. At the Battle of Waterloo, the 18th Irish Hussars charged the centre of the French position, inflicting heavy casualties on the French foes.
