Description
In the Travel Simulator community, there are 4 classes of certification that a pilot can obtain, depending on their needs and abilities. Our planes require two operators, a Captain who does the actual flying & control, and a First Officer who handles controls for gear, flaps, and lights systems. We also require that both people in the cockpit are in our communications server for ATC, and that at least one person in the cockpit has a microphone for handling ATC communications. Class A - Can act as Captain or First Officer for a flight & handle ATC communications Class X - Can act as Captain or First Officer for a flight but cannot handle ATC communications Class Y - Can act as First Officer for a flight & handle ATC communications Class Z - Can act as First Officer for a flight but cannot handle ATC communications
