Description
🪖 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 🗡️ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Territorial Army is the reserve component of the British Army. Activity expectations are looser, and members are expected to focus on their civilian roles; however, the Territorials are still trained soldiers and officers, prepared to fight for King and Country whenever called upon to do so. The Yeomanry serves as the armoured backbone of the TA and is often utilised in counter-insurgency warfare. Many infantry regiments of the regular army have special reserve battalions, which the TA commands during peacetime.
