It is home to the Rohirrim, the Horse-lords. In their tongue, they are the Eorlingas, the people of Eorl, in a long descended line from their Northmen ancestors. Mounted atop mighty steeds, the Riders of Rohan go to battle singing and cheering, their horns blowing on the wind, the thrill of battle music to their ears. They are a people of war that ride to vanquish all evils from the world, to make their home a land of peace.
