RoleplayENroleplayfantasylore
Description
"Etshien" is derived from the Old Etborne word eshei (unity through difference) and concordia (harmony). The Concord was formed from two rival lineages who bound themselves under one sacred vow — the Rite of Et. Founded by Kretacian and Pretirodo Rite of Et (The Naming Ritual) Those who join the Etshien Concord must undergo the sacred Rite of Et — a symbolic shedding of old ties. Their last vowel is replaced with "et", marking rebirth into the Concord as an Etborne. The Etborne The general people of the Concord — commonfolk, scribes, builders, soldiers, artisans All undergo the Rite of Et, regardless of origin They wear a small silver crest, engraved with the Concord's sigil — two intertwining wings surrounding a sun. Once an Etborne is born, they are required to either be part of the Aurelacian Flame or the Irodo Shōkai. "Two hearts, one crest — as we are blessed."
