Description
The Order of Aviz stands as the sword of the Portuguese Crown, formed by royal authority to defend the kingdom, enforce the King’s will, and answer threats both within and beyond Portugal’s borders. Its knights are chosen for discipline, loyalty, and ability in war. Membership is not given for a title or appearance; it is earned through service and proven through action. Every knight is expected to uphold the honor of the Order, obey his commanders, and place the Crown above personal ambition. When Portugal marches to war, Aviz marches with it.
