His career grew by 1799 when he first commanded at Zurich. As time went on, he became a Colonel at Jena. Cambronne served the Empire in Spain and Russia until going personally with Napoleon into exile on Elba. Following Napoleon's return, Cambronne became a Major in the Garde Impérial. Already critically injured, Cambronne led the last Vieille Garde at Waterloo. When British General Colville called for his surrender, Cambronne replied with his most famous quote. 𝕀𝕕é𝕠𝕝𝕠𝕘𝕚𝕖 𝕕𝕖 𝕝𝕒 𝕄𝕒𝕚𝕤𝕠𝕟; Maison Cambronne encourages the long term stability of France, providing support in initiatives best supporting the nation.
