Description
The State of Thomas Jefferson was founded right before America entered World War ll. The State was created by the people of Northern California and Southern Oregon. The people in this area felt that they were not represented enough in their state governments. The state is named after Thomas Jefferson who served as the President of the United States of America, and who wrote both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. He is honored by having his own state.
