Description
𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐂𝐇 Faction within the 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐝𝐞 The Principality of Antioch was founded during the First Crusade as a crusader state under Bohemond of Taranto. After finding initial success in besieging the city of Antioch itself, the crusader host was met with a counter-siege by a Muslim army from Mosul. The Crusaders withstood the siege, with help from a mystic, who told them that the Holy Lance — which pierced Christ's side as he was on the cross — was located in Antioch. With the newly discovered relic at the head of the army, Bohemond marched out to meet the besieging Muslim force which was miraculously defeated — as according to the Crusaders, an army of saints had appeared to help them on the battlefield. “𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐧.”
