Description
London Overground was launched in 2007, although some of the infrastructure it uses is much older. Most of the network runs along routes that were developed as railways in the 19th century, but by the early 21st century had become dilapidated and under-used. Now, the TFL Is working on a 75 Million Pound extension project to complete the East London line from Surrey Quays to Clapham Juncion. It's predicted to be completed by Late 2012.
