| House of Winfield The Winfield family would begin in the early colonial times during the American Revolution, helping produce firearms for the Continental Army, and creating Americas first monopoly via the Beaver Fur Trade. By the late 1880s, the family had already become a dynasty within the banking and real estate industry. Today, the Winfields wealth had changed drastically due to the selling of assets, but would still hold the largest banking firm in the United States.
