✪ 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The 1st Infantry Division is a combined arms division of the US Army, and is the oldest continuously serving in the Army. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ As a continuous service since its organization in 1917, it is officially nicknamed "The Big Red One" after its shoulder patch. The division has received another name of "The Big Dead One" as a pun on the respective official nickname.
