2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance BT, Alpha Company #569025158
Description
During Operation Just Cause, 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion used fast LAV-25 vehicles to scout ahead and locate enemy forces. They secured key roads and areas while conducting patrols to prevent Panamanian forces loyal to Manuel Noriega from regrouping. Their main role was rapid reconnaissance and control, engaging mostly in small skirmishes rather than major battles. How We Fought: Fast, aggressive movement Hit-and-move tactics Coordinated with infantry, helicopters, and other units How We Operate: Ran constant patrols in urban and rural areas Showed force to discourage resistance Helped stabilize areas after initial fighting Using out LAV as support How Crucial We Are: Moved quickly across the battlefield Found and disrupted enemy forces Helped secure Panama fast with minimal large-scale fighting
