Description
After the Antalonian SSR gained independence in 1987, the people leading realized that the Militsiya of the Antalonian SSR needed to be standardized and revamped due to rampant corruption, embezzlement, and lack of enthusiasm from its members. They first made the Militsiya into a modern policing agency referred to as the Antalon Federal Police. The Federal Government soon after established the Institute of Public Safety in 1992 after widespread reports of Law Enforcement Officers of varying proficiency reported by the Ministry of Information. The Institute makes sure that quality is ensured for all Law Enforcement Officers teaching them modern policing tactics and the law, and it has been reported that intimidation and fears tactics have been used.
