Think horseback riding isn't a sport? You lift weights, I lift water buckets. You run 1 mile, I ride 10. You work with a team, I work with a 1200lb animal who i have to communicate with, an animal that doesn't understand words. You have 4 quarters, 2 halves to show what you got? I have less than 2 minutes to bring it. When you fall down, you fall a couple of inches. We fall more than 5 feet. Your 'sport' is one season,ours is all year long, even is the freezing cold. Who's the athlete now? Equestrian heart <3 This group is for all type's of horseback riders, it doesn't matter if you ride Western or English. Or if you're a barrel racer or you're a hunter jumper. So why would you think one is better than the other? All that matters is that you're doing what you love! Equestrian heart <3
