"Nei Secoli Fedele" Fondato il tre dicembre 1990 per coordinare le attività investigative contro la criminalità organizzata, il Raggruppamento Operativo Speciale è il principale braccio investigativo dei Carabinieri, che si occupa di criminalità organizzata e mafia. Nasce dai resti del Nucleo Speciale Antiterrorismo, costruito negli anni '70 dal generale Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa per combattere il terrorismo in Italia. Aveva sedi a Genova, Napoli, Milano, Padova, Roma e Torino. Dopo aver sconfitto le Brigate Rosse negli anni '80, il Nucleo Speciale Antiterrorismo è stato impiegato anche per indagare sulla criminalità organizzata.
