Description
The Judiciary is the third branch of Government. As per the Article XVII of the Sector Constitution, Its ultimate authority rests with the Chief Justice and the Supreme Court of Orion. The Supreme Court is the highest court, and possesses both original and appellate jurisdiction; it also acts as the highest court of appeal and protectors of the Constitution. Sector District Courts are the lower tiered courts who possess original jurisdiction and are lead by a Chief Judge - whose authority is a lesser equivalent to that of the Chief Justice.
