Description
VIZ (Vishnunarayana “VIZ” Kurup) is an Indian singer, songwriter, performer, actor, and genre-defying artist known for constantly reinventing himself. His career began with LANA, an alternative R&B debut centered around Metamorphosis, which became one of the biggest and successful albums of its genre. A year later, VIZ opened the vault with LANA DELUXE, adding 23 previously scrapped tracks from the original era. He then entered his country/Americana era with KOWBOY ★ KURUP, a Grammy-winning project about Reckoning, belonging, identity, and breaking genre barriers. Its massive Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour cemented VIZ as a global performer. Finally came DREAMBOY, the pink, house-infused final chapter of his trilogy, representing Ascension. Beyond music, VIZ is expanding into film as Ezra Gale in Dorothy Must DIE. His defining philosophy? Never stay in one box. 🪻🤎💗
