Army Aviation Command Kara Havacılık Komutanlığı ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The high firepower, agility and speed of the Army Aviation branch provides unit commanders with the ability to focus available combat resources to specific places at specific times, and thus change the run of a battle; provides close air combat with attack/armed helicopters to maneuvering elements and executes reconnaissance, security and air combat operations; through the use of utility and heavy lift platforms, engages in troop transport, command and control missions, search and rescue operations, transportation of personnel, material, equipment and supplies, medical evacuations and various logistics support duties. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Main equipment and weapon systems of the Army Aviation branch are: Fixed-wing aircraft (airplanes), Rotary-wing aircraft (attack, utility and cargo helicopters).
