Honorary Oberst: OPEN Regimental Chaplain: OPEN 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 "Hoch-und Deutschmeister" "Children of Vienna" German line infantry from Vienna, Austria The Fourth Austrian Infantry Regiment, more commonly known as the "Hoch-und Deutschmeister" (Grand Master of the Teutonic Order) was a German line infantry regiment stationed in Vienna, that took its lineage back to 1696 by a contract between the Holy Roman Emperor and the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order. During the Revolutionary and Napoleonic wars, the regiment fought and distinguished itself in over 90 battles, finally closing them out by marching through the streets of Paris with its full banners.
