Honorary Oberst: OPEN Regimental Chaplain: OPEN 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 "Hoch-und Deutschmeister" "Children of Vienna" German line infantry from Vienna, Austria The Fourth Austrian Infantry Regiment, more commonly known as the "Hoch-und Deutschmeister" (Grand Master of the Teutonic Order) was a German line infantry regiment stationed in Vienna, that took its lineage back to 1696 by a contract between the Holy Roman Emperor and the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order. Grenadiers were considered to be the most elite line-infantry units of an army. With not only a campaign veteran requirement, but additionally a height requirement, the grenadiers were towering men who held high skills in marksmanship.
