Since then the national military of Belgium has fought bravely in several wars, including - but not limited to - the First World War, the Second World War and the Cold War. In addition, this army is a member of NATO and has succesfully participated in operations in Bosnia, Somalia, Kosovo, Lebanon, Libya and Afghanistan.
