Description
North Scanian Infantry Regiment 𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙎𝙄𝙆𝙏; The North Scanian regiment was one of the new regiments raised in 1811 after the loss of all Finnish regiments. Two whole rotations were instated to maintain the regiment as many Swedish regiments before were. It's sister regiment, the Sodra Skåne as a similar story. Many of the Finnish soldiers that were repatriated found themselves in one of these regiments. This regiment was lead by the legendary general Döbeln from 1812 onward. The North Scanian regiment was among the first to be fully equipped with the new, M/1810 uniforms.
