Description
The Second Sengoku Period began after the execution of Prime Minister Katsura attempted to dissolve the Ha n system in 1924. The assassins from Satsuma carried out a failed attempt on Karsura's life, resulting in the Federal government rallying various northern Domains against the armies of of Satsuma, Hirado, Matsumae, Tosa and Ch oshu. The armies of the Daimyos would besiege and occupy Edo, executing Prime Minister Katsura and several members of his cabinet. Though the domains returned to their provinces, contingents were left in the Kanto region and territorial squabbles would only escalate for the newly empowered Daimyos.
