Description

RAF No. 1 Group is a formation of the Royal Air Force responsible for fast-jet combat operations. Originally established during the First World War, it played a significant role in the Second World War, including strategic bombing campaigns under RAF Bomber Command. Today, No. 1 Group oversees the RAF’s frontline combat aircraft, including the Eurofighter Typhoon and the Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning.
