The Military Police Group (MP) is a police force responsible for security and law enforcement within the Belgian Army. Therefore, its primary task consists of supervising the order within the Military and, if necessary, enforcing and restoring it. When the military police carry out duties within the Belgian Armed Forces, they are usually clearly distinguishable from other officers and men, by the designation MP on an armband.
