It is one of the oldest and most senior regiments in the British Army. The Coldstream Guards took part in numerous battles in the Napoleonic Wars, and earned distinction in the Battle of Waterloo, where they re-closed Hougoumont's gates, and Wellington himself considered the defence as one of the deciding factors of the battle. ♔▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♚▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬♔ TO JOIN: Pass a tryout or be invited by an officer.
