Description
The Special Tasks and Rescue (S.T.A.R) Group is designed to handle problems and situations which require more concentrated attention than can normally be provided by general duty units radioing them via the radio to assist with a situation fit for S.T.A.R. The group consists of highly trained personnel skilled in the use of firearms, crowd control, crime prevention techniques, underwater recovery, Close Personal Protection, and search and rescue operations. Squad 712 has no authority over Squad 434. Squad 434 are ground units, Squad 712 are sniper units. In the event a Squad 434 member is unavailable, Squad 712 may fill in. This also applies if Squad 712 is offline.
