⊱ ══════════════════•✠•══════════════════ ⊰ The Beauclerk Family has traced back their roots to 1066 during the Norman Conquest when ancestors of Swedish nobility move to England and they later settled in Scotland in 1104 during the reign of King Edgar. In 1484 they were gifted Viscount Mountjxy by King James III of Scotland, a title they have carried along with others that have been gained throughout history, the most important title held by the family in modern day is the Eaxldom of Buxte and Dumfries.
