DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The duty of the Supreme Court of Cassation is to be a guardian for the rule of law. As the highest Court in the land, it reserves appellate jurisdiction to review cases of the lower Court. It has original jurisdiction only in matters relating to the Italian Constitution. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The duty of the Tribunal Court is to settle differences between Italian citizens and to put on trial those accused of civil disobedience or of violating law.
