Description
The Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad was formed in 1955, and has served the community of Wheaton and surrounding areas of Montgomery County for over 65 years. The Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad is a corps of volunteers who own, maintain and staff a fleet of 2 rescue Squads, 4 ambulances, 2 ALS chase vehicles, a utility, UTV, and chief's vehicles. Together, the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad provides service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year at no charge to those served. The Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad is dependent solely upon donations from the community and fundraisers for financial support. As long as the community provides support, the Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad will continue to provide fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to all our neighbors and the community free of charge.
