The English Crown claims not only the throne of England, but also the Crown of France through ancient bloodlines and conquest. Across the narrow sea, English banners fly above occupied French cities, while nobles, knights, and soldiers fight endlessly for glory, land, and royal favor. The kingdom is ruled through a strict feudal hierarchy. Every man, from the greatest duke to the lowest peasant, owes loyalty upward toward the Crown. Society is rigid, honorable, and deeply religious. Bells ring from monasteries at dawn, knights swear oaths before God, and kings rule by what is believed to be divine right.
