MISSIONS: The British Military's mission was to aid the expansion of the British Empire by helping to expand trade and commerce. Controversially, it also had significant moral or religious motives. It aimed to expand its territories and influence globally, often though conquest, trade, and the spread of Christianity. The Army was made up of people from England, Scotland, Ireland, Canada and India. The British Empire stood steadfast at every corner of the globe ready for any challenge it may face.
