Description
The Wars of the Roses were a serious of bloody battles for the throne of England. They were fought between the 2 royal houses. These houses were known as Lancastrians and Yorkists. The war started due to the Leader of the Yorkists (Richard) being removed from power and being removed as the heir to the throne. The first battle was the first battle of St Albans. In 1461 Yorkist power was stored in England but by 1470 Lancastrian power was restored. But Yorkists came back in 1471 and ruled until 1485. In 1485 Richard III was slain at Bosworth. The Tudor Dynasty then ruled.
