Description
The No. 1 Tactical Policing & Security Squadron is a specialist combat policing and force protection squadron within the Royal Air Force Police. 1TPSS provides high-readiness capability for higher-risk incidents, close protection, counter-terrorism, bomb disposal support, aviation security, and major security operations across the RAF. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 1TPSS operates under RAFP command and discipline, providing controlled specialist capability where routine policing or conventional force protection alone may be insufficient. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Specialist Elements: Counter-Terrorism Unit Close Protection Unit 5131 Bomb Disposal Unit Military Aviation Protection Officer (MAPO) Military Working Dog Handler (MWD)
