☯The Black Lotus society formed out of the confusion of the end of the Age of Avatar Aang. The White Lotus Society at this time had aged and lost its powerful sages it once possessed. The Avatar turned the White Lotus into a commonly known society (from a secret society) and made it simply that of guards, weak fragile guards who do not know the ways of the spirits. In turn of these events, there was no society to form together in the Avatar's darkest times. And so forth, the Black Lotus was formed, to be who the White Lotus once were, but with a much larger purpose, a purpose to preserve the fate of the world by that of mortality. Black Lotus is an insidious clan that will stop all threats to the fate of the world even if it must lead to the deaths of many innocent lives. We are a secret society bound by words, by thoughts, by detail. We are the grim protectors, unknown by all except its inner disciples.☯
