Description
After months of neutrality, the Kingdom of Italy enters the Great War against Austria-Hungary. Along the rugged peaks of the Alps and the banks of the Isonzo River, Italian soldiers wage a desperate struggle to secure Italy's unredeemed lands and fulfill the dream of national unity. What begins as a war of movement soon descends into brutal trench warfare. Artillery, machine guns, disease, and harsh mountain conditions claim countless lives as both sides fight for every hill, trench, and village.
