Description
The Vespera National Guard traces its origins to 1876, when early militias were formed to protect the young state’s farming communities along the Coast. These units later served with honor in the Union Army during the Civil War, building a tradition of resilience and service. Formally established under the Candace Act of 1903, the Guard was organized as Vespera's official state military force, headquartered in the Vespera Bay. Since then, it has answered the call in times of disaster, conflict, and crisis, serving both the people of Vespera and the nation as a whole. Today, the Vespera National Guard stands ready to defend its state, support federal missions, and uphold the proud legacy of service passed down through generations.
