Description
The New South Wales Rural Fire Service (NSW RFS) is a volunteer-based emergency service which protects communities from bushfires and other emergencies across the state of New South Wales. The organization focuses on prevention, preparing, response and recovery, working alongside other emergency services such as FRNSW and NSWAS, and local communities. Volunteer firefighters, brigades and support staff operate across urban, rural and regional areas. The NSW RFS provides training, community education, hazard reduction burns and response coordination. If you are interested in volunteering, contact your local brigade or visit the official NSW RFS website for recruitment and training details.
